HOW WE WORK
Every branding project begins with a conversation. We start with getting to know you as an individual and your company, your business needs, goals, preferences, timelines, budget and where you want to go over a good coffee and tete-a-tete. Once we know who you are and the challenges at hand, we then research your industry and field; what’s working and what is not, the best practices and trends, who you need to beat and with whom you need to form alliance and influence. Next is understanding your core offerings, what you are best at, your winning edge and possibly glean insight into activities of competitors and how the market thinks, as well as finding a window into the minds of your target demographics so as to develop creative ways to talk to them, employing language they understand, reaching and connecting with them through the right strategy, marketing proposition and engagement dynamics. Through this understanding, we are able to start the concept, campaign or brand building process, using only ideas, colours, shapes, tones, themes, typefaces and expressions relevant to your business, which results in a product that truly represents YOU.
You can email us a brief or we talk about your design work, expectations and timelines. We can do this over the phone or over a coffee in our strategy room or at your office.
Having received a brief from our clients, we issue job estimate and quotation proposal to clients to seek their approval before executing the job. Where necessary, a minimum of three quotation will be obtained for client’s perusal, preference and endorsement. Most likely, we’ll recommend a particular idea or supplier based on the criteria of quality, cost and delivery, and estimates will be prepared for approval, time permitting, before job is executed. This approach ensures there’s no ‘surprises’ when it comes to invoicing.
Once a proposal or quotation, has been oked by a client, they are required to make an up-front payment of 75% of the overall budget of the service either by cash, bank transfer or check, balance payable when the job is duly completed. All payments are to be made in favor of SAG ORUME.

Lagos Business School (LBS)
Lagos Business School Pan – Atlantic University impressed by SAG ORUME’s portfolio of events production, particularly THE CHARIOT Lagos Business School (LBS) ‘MEMBA 3 Class of 2016’ asked us to produce and manage the Send Forth Ceremony of Modular Executive MBA Program graduates who theyreferred to as THE TITANS, and which held in Oriental Hotel Lagos.
We conducted detailed research into the brand DNA of some of the world’s leading institutions, and their Send Forth Ceremonies, aligning these insight with Lagos Business School (LBS) MEMEBA 3’s brief to deliver a World Class event, thus celebrating the TITANS in a grand style.
Having assisted them in packaging the event, from conceptualization to execution, SAG ORUME put together a stunning visual package that included event logo invitation cards, envelops, year book, career bags, schedule of event, attendees accreditation form red carpet, backdrop, roll up banners, stage backdrop and location branding. Our design was complimented by state of the art printing using direct imaging. The event which attracted more than 100 CEOs, MDs and Senior Business Executives from a wide spectrum of industries received a lot of commendation from the client, graduatesand other guests.
Africa’s Global Fashion Brand
When Lagos – based luxury garment retailer AHDOOKEH wanted to reimagine its brand to connect more with Africa, appeal to the global market and reach a younger, style – conscious audience, SAG ORUME was right on ground to get the job done.
In an industry saturated with both local and international high end offerings, SAG ORUME kick started the branding process with a strategy session together with the CEO of the label. At the session the brand fundamentals including the vision, mission, values, personality, target market and brand essence were defined. We then engaged in an internal and external survey to enable us research their competition and industry, gathering insights by asking questions through Q & A questionnaires as well as visitation to competitors’ flagship stores.
Through this understanding and facts, we helped AHDOOKEH to create a renewed brand image and experience, using only ideas relevant to their business and industry. Key findings from the survey included the need to redesign the logo and craft and insightful byline. We also used this findings to create an entirely fresh, smart and visually engaging marketing collaterals such as invoice, receipt, letter head, ID card, car bumper sticker, t-shirt, roll up banners, glass door signage, Ad campaigns branded envelop and carrier bag. At present, AHDOOKEH continues to set the pace for their niche market as its loyal customer base gets even wider
This Present House (TPH)
This Present House (TPH) is a vibrant assembly of believers that are passionate about the advancement of God’s mandate and live as catalysts for godly change in Society. The Church needed a logo for its new entrepreneurship development and business education institution known as King Solomon Business Academy (KSBA) and SAG ORUME was asked to help.
The main objective was to break into the crowded business education market with a distinct brand identity, they were mindful of the World’s top 20 business institutions, thus wanted to really standout from an already crowded market,
SAG ORUME bench marked this top 20 institutions. These included Harvard Business School, London Business School, Stanford Graduate School of Business, Yale School of Management amongst Others.
The result was an iconic fresh new identity with a universal look and feel, and stronger, that matches international standards and positions them as the premier destination for global entrepreneurship development and business education in the World.
MEET OUR TEAM
We have to our advantage a pool of thorough bread branding and creative marketing communications mavericks with wealth of experience in Branding and Advertising, Event Marketing and Management. We also collaborate with a vast network of researchers, media buyers, copy writers, videographers, photographers, film directors, talent agencies, bloggers, web designers and other experts who can provide branding and advertising know – how that small businesses cannot afford to hire for themselves. The team is headed by Sag ORUME, a trained Mass Communicator, and seasoned brand strategist who brings his deep executive and entrepreurial background to the fore, along with extensive red-carpet, keynote and event hosting experience. His vast experience in Personal Branding, Content Development, Brand Design, Corporate Identity, Brand Management, Event Consulting and Management as well as Digital PR, Multimedia Journalism and Print Production puts him in good stead to drive the vision of the agency to the advantage of our enviable clientele.
Prior to now, Sag ORUME worked with Drecot Communications in Plateau State, from 1998 to 2002, where he assisted in planning and managing a variety of A – List Events such as LIVE IN JOS featuring Edris Abdulkareem in 1999, and Tu Face Idibia in 2000, two (2) editions of Miss University of Jos (UJ) Beauty Pergent and three (3) different “annual” editions of MISS POLO Beauty Pergent. He latter joined a United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and International Foundation for Education and Self Help ( IFESH) affiliated project and NGO: Basketball for Peace ( BB4P), where he worked side by side with Nigeria’s first National Basketball team Coach, Coach OBJ, planning, managing and anchoring the organization’s talent hunt competition segment and picnics across six (6) cities/states in Nigeria, namely Kano, Kaduna, Jos, Port-Harcourt, Warri, and Lagos for about five years.
His passion for being where the action is made him relocate from Jos to Lagos in 2007 and this transition availed him the much needed opportunity to pitch his tent with Star Comms Telecommunication Company as a programmer in thesame year. After a short while, he left Star Comms to become Entertainment Editor for both Impact Scholars Magazine and National Impact Glitz Magazine respectively. At Lumen Impact Communication, he also planned and managed some of the company’s major events including MISS IMPACT Beauty Pergent which took place in Imo State as well as hosted the company’s Magazine Unveiling, Media Presentation and Launch Party, including its Memo of Fame and Awards Ceremony. He left Lumen Impact in 2009 to Shakara International Limited to become Feature Editor for Wedding Shakara Magazine from where he became the Public Relation/Brand Manager for Nwando’s Signature, assisting in growing the company from a roadside events planning and management firm into a multimillion naira business empire, before opting out in 2013 to floath SAG ORUME. Our Principal and Chief Creative Director, Sag ORUME has not only attended but have executed several entertainment, marketing and brand building seminars, workshops and events, and is the Publisher and Founding Editor of SO Inspired Magazine.
